The invention relates to a luminaire having fluorescent tubes or the like and whose luminaire housing is covered downwards by a vaned louvre which has longitudinal webs and transverse vanes and is connected by a movable bolt to the luminaire housing, an electrical protective-conductor connection being provided between the luminaire housing and the vaned louvre. The invention proposes that the electrical protective-conductor connection is produced via the bolt by arranging that the bolt is in permanent electrical contact with the louvre and engages in its operating position in a contact spring which is arranged in the luminaire housing. As a result, the protective-conductor connection is automatically produced together with the mechanical locking, so that the known protective-conductor connection can be eliminated. Accordingly, the protective-conductor connection is always present in every case together with the blocking and can never be forgotten.
