Transport container, in particular for skis, in a passenger car, with an elongate container which is open on one side and can be inserted through a through-loading opening, provided between the luggage space and passenger compartment, into its position of use in the rear space as far as between the front seats. The rear of the container which projects here into the luggage space can be closed by an adjoining transport bag. The container can extend as far as the rear wall of the luggage space. In this case, the container is provided with a lid which closes an upper loading opening which extends approximately from the through-loading opening as far as the end of the container. In a further exemplary embodiment, a storage container is provided in the luggage space, into which storage container the container can be inserted for storage or transport purposes.
