The insect protection roller grille shown in Fig. 3 serves for the insect-proof, air-permeable covering of a window opening (4). It has a flexible net (20) which can be wound up on a winding shaft (24), and also a sealing arrangement which surrounds the window opening (4) and which prevents penetration of the insects through the intermediate space between the edge region (6, 6', 8, 8') of the window opening (4) and the net (20). The sealing arrangement has at least one brush strip (54, 54', 70, 80) which - or only the bristles (56) of which - fill(s) in the operating position the intermediate space lying in the region of the brush strip (54, 54', 70, 80) between the window edge region (6, 6', 8, 8') and the net (20). <IMAGE>
