Control device for a vehicle transmission

Device for the control of a hydraulically operated vehicle multispeed gearbox, which is connected by way of a torque converter 3 to an engine 2, each frictional transmission line having a hydraulically operated clutch C1 to C3 and the frictional transmission line for the low speed having a one-way clutch 7. The device has a holding arrangement 16 for the frictional transmission line for the top speed, which is actuated when a brake operation is detected and when the vehicle is at a standstill. Actuation produces engagement of the clutch in the frictional transmission line for the top speed. In this way idling vibrations and oscillations are reduced.
