The storage device contains a carrier (10; 100) and a slot holder for the collimators (48-54; 188-194) arranged on the carrier. The slot holder, in turn, comprises at least two slot members (64-70; 172, 174) which are each provided with at least one slot (82, 176). The slot members (64-70; 172, 174) are mounted on the carrier (10; 100) removed from one another at a distance which is smaller than the smallest prescribed collimator diameter. The two slots (82; 176) are thus situated on a common straight line. A collimator (48-54; 188-194) of prescribed diameter is inserted into the two slots (82; 176) in order to be held. <IMAGE>
