<p>A novel 6-tetrahydrofurfurylaminofluoran compound useful as a color former (precursory colorant) for a heat-sensitive recording sheet is of the formula (I):
<Chemistry id="chema01" num="0001"><Image id="ia01" he="36" wi="90" file="IMGA0001.TIF" imgContent="chem" imgFormat="TIFF" inline="no" /></Chemistry>wherein R<Sub>1</Sub> is H, C<Sub>1-8</Sub> alkyl, tetrahydrofurfuryl, phenyl, alkyl(C<Sub>1-5</Sub>)phenyl, or C<Sub>3-8</Sub> cyclic alkyl, R<Sub>2</Sub> is H, Cl, F, C<Sub>1-5</Sub> alkyl, C<Sub>1-5</Sub> alkoxy, C<Sub>2-10</Sub> alkoxyalkyl, phenyl or benzyl, and R<Sub>3</Sub> is H, Cl, F, C<Sub>1-5</Sub> alkyl and C<Sub>2</Sub>-<Sub>7</Sub> acryl.</p> |
