The invention relates to a method for undistorted digital filtering, in which an analog/digital converter (3) outputs examination results at a rate which is higher than the sampling frequency. The respective precise sample at a predetermined time is obtained by a group of examination results being mixed (8) with one another. The examination results are supplied by the converter during a sampling period which precedes the sampling time, and during a sampling period which follows the time to which the sampling is related. It is proven that the frequency distortions can be eliminated. The invention is mainly suitable for sampling memories in which a control range (17) must be provided for the sampling frequency.
