<p>A method and an apparatus for compacting newly poured concrete or similar plastic, porous materials (6) where the comparatively very dry concrete unit or porous unit in its mould is vibration compacted from both sides with synchronised directional vibrations in phase opposition. The vibrations are solely imparted to one part (M1) the other part (M3) being coupled to the former by a balanced spring system (7) arranged between hydraulic cylinders (8) and the two parts. There is thus obtained an oscillation system whereby the plastic object is simultaneously vibrated from both sides with oscillations in phase opposition. There is thus produced a highly uniform product having a compact structure and thus a durable concrete with faster strength development and great final strength by the use of concrete with a very low content of water and cement and without using plastifying additives.</p> |
