Machine for holding the stem of the plant, cutting off, harvesting, and arrangement into a mesh container, ready for drying ("curing"), of eastern type tobacco leaves. Which is composed of:
A) A mechanism for holding the plant during the cutting off ( figure 2 .1).
B) A mechanism for opening up and cutting off the leaves from the plant ( figure 5 . 2 , figure 5 . 3 , figure 5 .4).
C) A mechanism for harvesting and conveying the leaves towards the collection containers ( figure 7.7, figure 7 . 9 . figure 8 .2).
D) A mechanism for layering the leaves ( figure 8 .3) in mesh containers ( figure 8 .1), holding the leaves in the container with needles ( figure 9 .1), in order to keep the leaves in place when perpendicular for curing ( figure 9 .7).
E) A vehicle to which these mechanisms are fitted, and by which these mechanisms are driven ( figure 10 ). |
