Disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention is an access authentication method. The method comprises: when a public security base station is able to connect to a core network, receiving and storing, by the public security base station, a security vector allocated to a public security terminal and issued by the core network; when the public security base station is disconnected from the core network, utilizing, by the public security base station, the security vector to perform mutual authentication with the public security terminal.
