The invention relates to a detection device and a detection method of on-board equipment of a shunting train protecting system. The detection device is a portable detector and comprises a processing module, and a power-supply power source module, a wireless radio module and an internet access which are connected with the processing module, as well as an external interface module matched with an on-board host machine. The detection method comprises the steps that for the on-board host machine installed on a train, the wireless radio module and the internet access are connected with the on-board host machine, to detect connectors of the on-board host machine per se and external equipment connected with the connectors and update software or data of the on-board host machine; for the on-board host machine not installed on the train, the wireless radio module, the internet access and the external interface module are connected with the on-board host machine, to detect the connectors of the on-board host machine per se and update software or data of the on-board host machine. Compared with the prior art, the on-board detection equipment is small in size and easy to carry, can be applied to a variety of detection situations and is convenient to apply. |
