PURPOSE:To cool a glass cylinder and an electric member for supplying electric power to a light source means efficiently and effectively by one cooling fan by providing said electric member for a light source means in the glass cylinder and also arranging the cooling fan which forces air to flow at an opening part at one end. CONSTITUTION:A light source unit support 5 is arranged and fixed in the glass cylinder 2. Side plates 40 and 41 have openings 42 and 43 matching with the opening end part of the glass cylinder respectively, are provided and the cooling fan is fitted to one side plate 40 with a fitting plate 44. The glass cylinder 2 is heated during exposing operation with a light beam from a light source 25 and a resistor 36 for charging and electric parts fitted to a printed board 37 generate heat, but cooling air is sent into the glass cylinder 2 by the cooling fan 45. Consequently, the glass cylinder 2, resistor 36 for charging, and electric parts fitted to the printed board 37 are cooled and prevented from overheating.
