An apparatus for towing and hauling in trawl nets, fly- shooting and the like consists of a beam 1 with box profile, which has a lengthwise slot 11, and in which there are arranged carriages 2, 3 with fastening elements 8, 9 for towing wires 12, 14 for the trawl net, which stick out through a slot 11. The one carriage 3 can be towed forward and backward along the beam 1 by means of a chain or rope drive 5, while the other 2 is free-running and has elements for locking it to the ends of the beam 1. In order to use the apparatus for double trawl nets, which are dragged with three hawsers or wires, there is arranged a second free-running carriage 4 at the opposite side of the drawn carriage 3, and which similarly has locking elements for locking to the end of the beam 1 opposite the first free-running carriage 2. Both free- running carriages have coupling elements for connection to the drawn carriage 3. <IMAGE>
