PURPOSE:To improve the rotation responsiveness by increasing or reducing a driving signal to resolve the difference between the rotation number of a motor and a reference rotation number if the rotation number of the motor obtained by a motor rotation number calculating means is larger or smaller than the reference rotation number. CONSTITUTION:A motor rotation controller consists of a rotation angle command signal generating means, a rotation detecting means, a motor driving fundamental signal generating means, a motor rotation number calculating means, a reference rotation number setting means, and a motor driving means. A rotation angle command signal Di and a rotation angle detection signal Mi are inputted to the motor driving fundamental signal generating means and the reference rotation number setting means to generate a motor driving fundamental signal DB as a function of the difference between both signals, and a reference rotation number NK is set. A motor rotation number NM is calculated in accordance with the variation of the signal Mi. The motor driving means outputs a motor driving signal D0 so that the motor driving fundamental signal DB is increased if the motor rotation number NM is smaller than the reference rotation number NK but the signal DB is reduce if the motor rotation number NM is smaller.
