The invention relates to a pressure-control valve with a tight-seated sealing piston, arranged in a pressure line in a housing frame, for controlling the pressure, especially in clamping devices for tools, and consist in that the side of the seat piston (3) facing away from the pressure forms the support of a two-armed lever (9) which is mounted in a low-friction manner and one arm of which is loaded with the load (F1) at a distance of (S1) by a spring (10) and the other arm of which is loaded with the load (F2) at a distance of (S2) as a result of the effect of a measuring piston (11) connected to the pressure space (P), the outer end of the one arm of the lever (9) being in a position (11) around the seat piston (3) in the event of an equilibrium of the pressure-determining loads, whilst, if an equilibrium of the pressure-determining loads is not yet achieved, an angularly changed position (I) is reached by the outer end of the lever arm, and the outer end of the lever arm is connected to an electrical switching device controlling the motor of the pressure pump. <IMAGE>
