The sliding device is a further development of the patented sliding device (Patent Application P 3505255.4). An upper and a lower ski body enclose an intermediate space and are connected to one another in a torsion-proof manner in the main loading region, i.e. in the region immediately in front of and behind the binding, in the alpine ski. The ski bodies thereby form a "torsion box" which can absorb the load in a resilient manner. This results in the ability to move in a skate-like manner, making the sliding device very easy to turn and giving it good adhesion and a good tracking ability.
