The invention describes a heat-shrinkable covering material, comprising a laminate of a heat-shrinkable cross-linked plastic layer(I) and heat-bondble adhesive layer(II), where in(II) on all or part of one surface of (I) is composed mainly of an elastomeric material(A) and has a bonding force expressed by a shear streanth of 0.001-0.05kg/cm2 (determined from ASTM D-1002) at a high temp. where the covering material exhibits a largest beat-shrinking force. Pref. (I) are any known films/sheets of cross-linked plastics and laminates with a heat-shrinking temp. of 80-200deg.C (pref. 90-180deg.C), and giving a gel fraction of 20-90%
