The subject-matter of the invention is a printing hammer magnet arrangement, in particular for daisywheel typewriters, wherein the printing hammer magnet housing is arranged in a holder which encloses the printing hammer magnet housing as completely as possible in the circumferential and longitudinal directions. Inserted between the printing hammer magnet housing and its holder is a rubber-elastic intermediate layer which has heat-conducting properties. The intermediate layer prevents vibrations which occur during the actuation of the magnet being transmitted to other machine parts. However, due to the heat-conducting properties, the heat produced during the operation of the magnet can be conducted away to the surrounding machine parts.
