<p>Film-forming, pharmaceutical vehicles containing hydrophilic, polymeric resins, pharmaceutical compositions based on the vehicles, and methods of treating onychopathic conditions using the compositions. The vehicles form continuous, self-supporting films when applied to human nails and do not disintegrate when contacted with water, thereby enabling compositions based on the vehicles to deliver drugs to the nails over extended periods of twenty-four hours or longer with only a single application of the compositions.</p> |
