PURPOSE:To prevent a pickup from going inoperative due to frosting by fitting a defrosting heater to an optical pickup part. CONSTITUTION:The heater 7 is fitted to an optical pickup case 1 by an adhesives 8. Further, since the heater 7 is controlled due to the temperature of the optical pickup, a temperature sensor 9 is provided and a control circuit driving the heater 7 flows a current in response to the temperature sensor 9. Thus, when the ambient temperature is very low, the optical component such as a lens of the optical pickup is prevented from going inoperable due to frosting. |
