<p>A buckle for use with straps for lighter loads, such as skis or the like placed on roof-racks of private cars or similar, comprises a buckle housing (1) in one end of which a strap is releasably held in position. The buckle housing (1) is provided with at least one slot (3, 4), through which one end of said strap is intended to run. The buckle also comprises a locking washer (6), the head end (7) of which is retained inside the buckle housing (1) by means of a locking action of a spring means (8). The other end (9) of the locking washer runs through one of the slots (3), and protrudes out of the buckle housing.</p> |
