PURPOSE:To shorten the occupied time of a bus during a data transfer processing by providing a change over means between a system memory and a CRT control part. CONSTITUTION:A multiplexer 9 changes over the memory 1 to a path for making access to the memory 1 through the bus 6 from a CPU7 and a path for directly transferring data between the memory and the CRT control part 3 without the bus 6. Accordingly, the multiplexer 9 is controlled from the CPU7 and changed over, thereby, the memory 1 can be changed over to the path for making access to the memory 1 through the bus from the CPU7 and the path for directly transferring the data between the memory and the control part without the bus 6. Thereby, the occupied time of the bus when the transfer of the data is carried out between the system memory 1 and a memory 2 for storing display data can be shortened.
