The invention relates to a system with a semi-closed circuit of water for suction dredgers, comprising at least: a suction tube (2) with a suction head (1) and a suction pump; a container (4) where the dredged water and sediments accumulate; a series of anti-overflow lateral plates (4a) located on the edge of the wall of the container (4); a compartment of excess water (7) for the accumulation of the water that has spilled over; and a recirculation system (8) which conveys the turbid water spilled from the ship onto the sea bed, to a zone next to the suction head (1).
