<p>With the present muscular training apparatus it is possible for the user to exercise particularly his or her lower members and this for re-education or sporting purposes and more particularly but not exclusively with a view to perfecting and training for sliding sports such as snow skiing or water skiing, which apparatus comprises an arcuate track (4) having two lanes (5, 6) for at least one carriage (14, 15) provided with a skid (18) which is associated via an articulation (17). It is characterized in that, in order to place the user in a position which best corresponds to the position taken in reality when practising such sports, and this despite the resultant guiding of the lanes (5, 6), the origin of the curvature radius of the track (4) is situated, in the afore-mentioned medial plane, above the track (4) so that the latter rises both at one of its front or rear sides and at its extremities. Application to the industry of sports and leisure equipment as well as to re-education apparatuses.</p> |
