FIELD: railway equipment.SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for consolidation of a railway tracks ballast. Insert of hard-alloy material for a tool of a sleeper tamping machine is made in the form of a mushroom-shaped element containing a head and leg (1). Upper part of the head is ripper (2), and the lower part is fender (3). External dimensions of ripper (2) in cross section does not project beyond the minimum external dimensions of leg (1) in cross section. In the place of ripper (2) and fender (3) conjugation the head body is made so that side surfaces of fender (3) and ripper (2) make an obtuse angle on at least a part of the perimeter of their conjugation. When making fender (3) and/or ripper (2) with flat side surfaces, the obtuse angle is formed by these surfaces. When making fender (3) and/or ripper (2) with curvilinear side surfaces, the obtuse angle is formed by tangents to these surfaces in the place of ripper (2) and fender (3) conjugation. When making fender (3) and/or ripper (2) with conical side surfaces, the obtuse angle is formed by generating lines of said surfaces.EFFECT: reduced resistance of the tool deepening is achieved.10 cl, 6 dwg |
