There are disclosed derivates of 2,2-dimethyl-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid, endowed with insecticide and acaricide activity, having general formula: wherein: R is an alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl radical having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, optionally substituted with halogen atoms, or R is an aryl radical optionally substituted with halogen atoms, alkyl or alkoxyl radicals; Y is O or S; X is H, F, Cl, Br, -CH3, -CF3; R1 represents a group having formula: wherein X1 = H, F; X2 = H, -CN, -C IDENTICAL CH; Q = O, CH2; A = CH or N when X1 = H, X2 = CN and Q = O.
