Device for setting upright in each case two individual panes, which are brought up lying one behind another in an essentially horizontal position on a flat conveyor, of a double glass pane to be manufactured, in essentially that relative position corresponding to the double glass pane to be manufactured, with two tilting frames which can be pivoted out of a horizontal receiving position located underneath the conveying plane of the flat conveyor into a transfer position, with an upright conveyor, which transports transversely to the flat conveyor, with a number of transport rollers which extend along the tilting axis of the tilting frames and the support plane of which lies above the conveying plane of the flat conveyor, and with a tilting frame stop, against which the edges of the individual panes lying at the bottom after setting upright come to bear and the spacing of which from the tilting frame axis can be adjusted in such a manner that the pane edges lying at the bottom after setting upright can be set down on the transport rollers of the upright conveyor during pivoting up of the tilting frame, both tilting frames (10, 12) being synchronously pivotable up out of the horizontal receiving position about closely mutually adjacent tilting axes (14, 16) in opposite angular directions into the essentially vertical transfer position, that the flat conveyor provided with conveying rollers (22) or the like [lacuna] under the upright conveyor (36, 38, 40, 42) over the entire receiving region of the two ...
