The invention proposes a clamping connection between two components, preferably two expansion dowels (13) being longitudinally displaceably received in a retaining part (9) of the first component. The second component (7) engages over the retaining part (9) and the expansion dowels (13) and is provided at corresponding points with bores (19), through which screws (21) can be inserted into the expansion dowels. Between the retaining part (9) and the second component (7) there is a lateral spacing such that, when screws (21) are not tightened, there is a possibility of adjustment, via the expansion dowels (13), by displacing the expansion dowels (13) in the retaining part (9). The desired adjustment is secured by tightening the screws (21).
