PURPOSE:To confirm that the number dialed by a caller is correctly received with an exchanging device by providing a sound synthesizing device to receive dial information sent from the caller and send the received dial information to the caller by a sound. CONSTITUTION:When the receiving up to a final digit is completed, a central control unit 2 opens a connecting bus (b), closes (c), reads the dial information which is received from an extension subscriber 10, from a storage device 3 and transfers the message which combines these pieces of the dial information and the sentence 'The present transmitting telephone number is such and such.' to a sound synthesizing device 23. The sound synthesizing device 23 sends the above-mentioned information sent from the central control unit 2 through a switch 1 and a subscriber circuit 20 to the extension subscriber 10 with a sound. By the above-mentioned series of operation, the dial information transmitted by the caller himself to the extension caller can be sent with the sound.
