PURPOSE:To enable thrust load to be properly set by providing an adjusting member for pressing a race having a tapered surface through a spring. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 1 is inserted into a reference hole 20a provided in the center of a housing 20. A plurality of balls 22 are provided circumferentially along grooves 21a, 21b on the shaft 1. A tapered surface 23a of a lower race 23 bears against the bolls 22. An upper race 27 is inserted in the upper portion of an inner housing 26 and the tapered surface 27a contacts the upper side balls 22. A spring 28 is provided above the upper race 27. An adjusting member 29 is moved back and forth relative to a screw section 26a to adjust the pressing force of the spring 28 and set thrust load.
