PURPOSE:To have recording papers arranged at one position by arranging a picture light generator on an original platen of a picture recorder and using the picture recorder so as to record a reception facsimile picture signal so as to avoid double investment of a recording section. CONSTITUTION:A picture generating face 13 of a picture generator 10 is arranged on the face of the original platen 21 and a picture is generated from the picture generating face 13. Then a control section 29 lights the light 221 by a command of the control circuit 12, receives/transmits information to/from the control circuit 12 to drive a photosensitive drum 26 synchronously with the picture generation period of the face 13 and the reflected light of the face 13 is recorded on the paper 30 as a picture while being driven for copying. The generating time of the picture and the drive speed of the photosensitive drum are remarkably changed by the luminous quantity of the reflected light from the face 13. Thus, prior to the recording, the adjusting means applying automatic adjustment by the reflected light from the face 13 ensures an excellent picture.
