PURPOSE:To improve the quality of line by providing an error correction adaptor to a line having bad line quality oppositely so as to correct the data error. CONSTITUTION:A frame constitution section 14 of a data transmission conversion section 1 reconstitutes data into a frame of a predetermined form from an error correction code from an error correction code generating section 13 and a data main part from a speed conversion section 11 and a synchronizing pattern signal from a synchronizing patten generating section 12 and sends the result to the line 3. A data reception converting section 2 consists of a frame synchronizing section 24, a speed reconverting section 22, an error correction code calculating section 23 and an error correction section 21. The error correction section 21 applies correction to a data from the speed reconverting section 22 according to error information from the error correction code calculation section 23.
