PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition, containing a metallic powder pigment, having a specified thixotropy index, capable of increasing orientation of the metallic powder pigment in films and preventing occurrence of metallic unevenness and useful as automotive exterior plates, etc. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition, containing a metallic powder pigment (preferably scaly aluminum powder) and obtained by adding, e.g. a structural viscosity imparting agent, and adjusting the thixotropy index within the range of 4-8.
