EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITION FOR CASTING

PURPOSE:To obtain an epoxy resin composition for casting, having excellent adhesiveness to embedded metals, by blending epoxy resin with alumina powder and a finely granulated filler. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt epoxy resin is blended with (A) >=250pts.wt. alumina powder having 20mum average particle diameter and (B) <=30pts.wt. finely granu lated filler (e.g. one or more selected from calcium carbonate, clay and aerogel alphagroup) having <=2mum, preferably <=1mum particle diameter.
