PURPOSE:To generate a pertinent propulsive force and obtain simple and less expensive construction by providing a pair of coils, plungers therein and a connection member for connecting the plungers monolithically to each other in a propulsive force generating device used in the space. CONSTITUTION:Coils 10 and 20 are arranged so aslant as to give the axial lines l1 and l2 thereof intersecting each other. Plungers 12 and 22 comprising strong magnetic substances are positioned within the coils 10 and 20. Magnetism is generated in the coils 10 and 20, and each of the plungers 12 and 22 is subjected to forces F1 and F2 in an arrow direction. A resultant force F3 works as a whole, and the monolithic construction of the coils 10 and 20 generates a force shifting in an F3 direction. As a result, a pertinent propulsive force can be generated and the titled device can be made simple and less expensive.
