PURPOSE:To miniaturize an inclination sensor by obtaining an uneven image of an inclination detecting part by using a hologram and an image pickup element. CONSTITUTION:An inclination sensor consists of an uneven surface information input device 5 and an inclination detecting part 6. The uneven surface information input device 5 is constituted of having an input surface 51 for allowing a body to be inspected, to abut and propagating a reflected light beam, a hologram 53 formed in a part of the transparent plate 52 and for deriving the reflected light, a laser light source 54 for projecting the body to be inspected through the transparent plate, and an image pickup element 55 for photographing an uneven image of the body to be inspected. When the uneven surface information input device 5 is fixed to an arbitrary plane, and the inclination detecting part 6 is allowed to abut as the body to be detected, onto the input surface 51 of the uneven surface information input device 5, an uneven image is obtained in accordance with an inclination of an arm 4 against the arbitrary plane.
