PURPOSE:To inexpensively improve the line utilizing efficiency by inserting an insertion data at the substantial data transmission interval at a sender side and sending it to a communication line and discriminating the received data at the reception side as to whether it is the substantial data or the inserted data and distributing the data in response to the result of discrimination. CONSTITUTION:The substantial data and the inserted data to be outputted from a communication processing unit 1 to a line are stored tentatively an a buffer and an inserted data buffer in a data insertion and separation device 2. After the substantial data is sent to a communication line 11, the inserted data stored in the insertion data buffer is sent to the communication line 11 and when the insertion data stored in the insertion data buffer is sent, the substantial data from the communication processing equipment 1 is stored tentatively in the buffer. After the transmission of the insertion data is finished, the substantial data stored in the buffer is sent to the communication line 11. The destination of the received data is discriminated in the data insertion and separation device 7 at the reception side and the data is distributed in response to the result of discrimination so as to use the communication line 11 by plural devices without requiring any complicated control.
