PURPOSE:To exclude an error of a PSK signal at a code border with simple constitution by tracing whether or not the phase difference obtained from two adjacent Re component and Im component is pi/2 while the carrier of the PSK signal is sampled at a 4-time frequency. CONSTITUTION:An A-D converter 1, a shift register 2, a phase detector (I) 3, a phase detector (II) 4, a subtractor 5 and a code border discriminator 6 are provided. An input PSK signal fo is sampled at a frequency being 4 times that of the carrier of the PSK (Phase Shift Keying) signal to obtain a synchronizing detection data equivalently. Whether or not the synchronizing detection data includes the code boundary of the input PSK signal fo depending whether the phase difference by two sets of real parts (Re component) and the imaginary part (Im component) consecutive in the synchronizing detection data is pi/2 or not, and the synchronizing detection data is subject to demodulation processing while excluding the synchronizing data including the code boundary. Thus, the error at code boundary is excluded with simple constitution.
