PURPOSE:To perform teaching in offline as well as online by calculating the operation signal of a robot actuator based on input of a recognition object area and an attitude path. CONSTITUTION:A robot supporting system consists of an input means 1, a work object operating means 2, a graphic means 3 which obtains a work object, a robot operating means 4, a simulation means 5, a display means 6, and a storage means 7. When the area where the work object exists and the attitude of the robot are inputted by the input means 1, the work object operating means 2 determines the shape and the position of this object based on instruction results. These information are graphically displayed by information from the storage means 7. The robot arithmetic means 4 obtains the operation signal of the robot actuator and applies it to a robot mechanism 8 to control the actuator, and the operation signal is displayed through the simulation means 5 by information of the surface shape of an obstacle to the work from the storage means 7. |
