PURPOSE:To accomplish precise working by controlling a differential pressure of a fluid of a supply port with a correcting throttle using a displacement gauge in spindle device retaining a rotary tool. CONSTITUTION:Output signals from displacement gauges 21, 22 are transmitted to a comparator 25. A controller 26 inputs an inclination of a sprindle 13 obtained from computing results as correction amount to servo valves 27, 28. The servo valves 27, 28 are adapted to control working fluid supplied from a fluid supply source 31 according to input given from the controller 26. Accordingly, control fluid is discharged from supply ports 29, 30 with a correcting throttle to correct the inclination of the spindle 31, so that the displacement of the forward end of the tool can be corrected to accomplish precise working.
