PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a projector at a low cost by using a light output from a picture light emission source for the irradiation of screen and an exposure for photosensitive recording medium and correcting a luminance matched with the sensitivity of exposure at the time of exposing the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:At the time of using as a projector, a mirror 8 and a cover 10 respectively exist in positions A and C shown with a continuous line. The picture is displayed on a cathode-ray tube 6 with a picture signal from a driving circuit 4 and the light beam forms an image on a screen 9 through an image formation lens 7 and the mirror 8. When a hard copy is required, by depressing a switch 41 the picture signal is accumulated in a memory circuit 3 and the display on the cathode-ray tube is stopped, then the cover 10 and the mirror 8 are respectively moved in the positions D and B shown with alternate long and two short lines. The picture signal from a memory 3 is balanced in terms of color with the control signal from a luminance control circuit 5 in a driving circuit 4 and light emission is executed in the cathode-ray tube 6 so as to expose a microcapsule sheet 23 through the lens 7.
