PURPOSE:To accurately and rapidly position an image frame corresponding to an already printed printing paper in an exposure position by reading the number of frame in carrying an original film and positioning the image frame corresponding to the number of frame in the exposure position. CONSTITUTION:The cover body 72 of a carrier 16 is rotated to be in a stopped state, which is detected by a limit switch 75. Then, a bar code added to the printing paper already printed 42 is read by a bar code reader 99 and the data Bp is supplied to an exposure controller 26 so as to be stored in a RAM. Next, one frame of picture of a negative film 18 is carried by a take-up roller 90. The bar code of the film 18 is read by the reader and the data Bf is transmitted to the controller 26. The data Bp and Bf are compared in a CPU and when they coincide the Bp is decided as the image frame and the image frame corresponding to the already printed printing paper 42 is positioned in the exposure position after two frames of the negative film 18 are carried by the take-up roller 90 on a lower part side.
