PURPOSE:To prevent the telephone reservation service to even a reserver who uses a DP telephone set, by recognizing the voice related idle seat reservation inputted from the telephone and reporting the idle seat reservation result to this telephone with a voice. CONSTITUTION:When the reserver dials the voice telephone reservation service on a DP telephone set 1, a voice recognizing device 3 is started through a switchboard 2 to inquire of the reserver about the data, the train name (flight number), the time of departure, the entraining station (airport of boarding), the destination station (airport of arrival), etc., of a ticket to be reserved in order. The reserver responds to inquiry items with a voice. When all items are completely registered, a voice recognizing device 3 starts a computer 4 and an idle seat is selected by the computer 4. After the idle seat is selected by the computer 4, an audio response unit 5 converts data from the computer 4 to a voice and informs the reserver of it.
