PURPOSE:To obtain the title molding material which can meet the requirements of the Food Sanitation Law and can give a warpage-free molding excellent in moldability, paintability and strength, by adding a specified amount of pulp wastes to a phenolic resin. CONSTITUTION:40-60wt.% pulp wastes preferably having a water content of 5-18wt.% and an apparent density of 0.15-0.40g/cc, produced from the refining process, pretreatment process and bleaching process in the pulp production, is mixed with a novolak, resol or modified phenolic resin and, optionally, 5-15pts.wt., per 100pts.wt. phenolic resin, curing agent (e.g., hexamine).
