PURPOSE:To decrease the number of working parts and to obtain the intermittent irregular signals in a simple constitution, by converting the digital signals of parallel random patterns read out of a memory means into analog signals and delivering the intermittent irregular signals. CONSTITUTION:A random pattern signal source (pseudo M series digital signal generating circuit 24) which produces a serial random pattern and a signal converting means (serial/parallel conversion shift register 26) which converts the serial random pattern produced by the circuit 24 into the digital signals of a parallel random pattern, a memory means (latch circuit 28) which stores the digital signal obtained by the register 26 and can read out these digital signals at the optional time intervals by the external control signal, and a digital/analog converting means (DAC32) which converts the digital signals of the parallel random pattern read out of the circuit 28 into analog signals and delivers the intermittent irregular signals VS, are provided. Thus the intermittent irregular signals are obtained in a simple constitution without increasing the number of working parts.
