PURPOSE:To provide a sufficient visible ray reflectivity to a reflecting mirror so that IR rays can be removed by consisting the mirror of multi-layered selective films of a visible ray reflection-IR transmission type and forming a low reflecting film layer and black absorptive film layer to a specific relation. CONSTITUTION:This reflecting mirror consists of a metallic plate base material 11 which has good thermal conductivity and has the smoothness necessary for reflecting prescribed visible rays, the low reflecting film layer 12 and black absorptive film layer 13 provided thereof, and the multi-layered selective films 14 of the visible ray reflection-IR transmission type provided thereon. The low reflecting film layer has such properties that the relations TL<TB and RB<RL hold under the conditions of dL=dB where the film thickness of the low reflecting film layer 12 is designated as dL, the reflectivity as RL and the transmissivity as TL and the film thickness of the black absorptive film layer 3 is designated as dB, the reflectivity as RB and the transmissivity as TB. The properties of the black absorptive film layer are so set that the relations RB<RL, TB>TL hold. The light of only the visible rays removed of IR rays which are heat rays is thereby obtd.
