PURPOSE:To efficiently catch, separate and recover a blood corpuscle within a short time, by performing the inflow of blood, a blood corpuscle suspension and a physiological saline solution from the lower end of a blood chamber and allowing the filtrate filtered by a filter member to flow out from the upper end of a filtrate chamber. CONSTITUTION:Blood flows down from a blood inflow port 12a and flows in a blood chamber 22 from the opening 12b provided to the lower end thereof by the head pressure between a blood collecting bag 40 and a blood component separating instrument 10 to uniformly fill the blood chamber 22 and an objective component is filtered or adsorbed by the passage resistance of a filter member 20. The treated blood filtered or not adsorbed by the filter member 20 enters a blood outflow passage 16 from the opening 16a provided to the upper end of a filtrate chamber 32 and flows down through a filtrate outflow passage 16 to flow out from the filtrate outflow port 16b thereof and flows in the blood component separating instrument 10. When the filtrate begins to flow out from the blood outflow port 16b, a circuit 56 is closed by a clamp 48 and a circuit 54 is opened and a recovery bag 52 is replaced with a new recovery bag 50 to perform the recovery of blood.
