The present invention relates to the technical field of terminals. The present disclosure relates to a state switching method and device. The method comprises: acquiring a state switching instruction; according to the state switching instruction, switching a current state from an operating state to a stopped state; and in the stopped state, remaining in the stopped state if no specific wake-up instruction is received. The present disclosure describes the method which includes: switching, according to the state switching instruction; and if the current state is switched from the operating state to the stopped state, and no specific wake-up instruction is received, remaining in the stopped state regardless of what other operating instruction is received, thereby avoiding the target device from switching back to the operating state without user intervention, resulting in a user family member suffering a loss, and thereby improving target device security. |
