1. A reclining chair comprising:
a stationary frame having first and second sides; a seat, a seat back, and a foot rest mounted to the frame; a linkage mechanism mounted to the frame and configured to move the seat, the seat back, and the foot rest between a sitting position and a reclining position and having a driving arm adjacent to the first side and configured to drive the linkage mechanism; a rotatable arm mounted to the first side of the stationary frame; and a transmission linkage coupled to the driving arm and the rotatable arm; wherein the transmission linkage comprises at least two universal joints and a telescoping joint.
