This circuit acquires a simple controlling pulse of a flipflop, a mono-multi gate circuit and is easily made to an IC and provides a cheap controlling circuit. In a helical scanning small VTR, while recording, this one records an image signal in a magnetic tape, and at the same time records a control pulse which is acquired by dividing a vertical synchronizing signal (60Hz) to 2 parts in the individual track which is called as an image signal track. Comparing a sampling pulse with a large pulse reference signal, this circuit acquires a phase-comparing error signal and controls the capstern to a regular verosity by a phase-comparing error signal.
